Jason Hawksworth | Chief Executive Officer
Jason leads ATL with a strong focus on high performance, strategic direction, and an engaged, empowered team. A seasoned executive, he brings extensive experience across the insurance sector and a proven track record in driving growth and strengthening distribution capability.
Before joining ATL, Jason held senior leadership roles at Allianz, including General Manager of Distribution, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s market presence and delivering sustainable business growth. Prior to Allianz, he served as Head of Distribution at Chubb, following earlier leadership roles such as NSW State Manager and National & Sydney Independent Broker Team Manager.
Jason’s career is defined by his commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and building trusted, long‑term partnerships with brokers. His strategic mindset and dynamic leadership style have established him as a respected and influential figure in the insurance industry.

David Burgess | Group Financial Controller
David brings more than four decades of expertise in the insurance industry. As a founding Director of ATL Insurance Group, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s operational framework, driving efficiency, and maintaining a strong focus on service excellence.
David began his career in London with the Sedgwick Group’s E W Payne Reinsurance Brokers before moving to Robert Fleming Insurance Brokers, where he served as a Director within RFIB’s Non-Marine Division. During this period, he developed extensive experience in international insurance and reinsurance broking, as well as in the management of binding authorities within the Lloyd’s market.
His deep background in reinsurance and binding authority management has given him a strong foundation in risk, compliance, and strategic planning, capabilities that continue to support the success and governance of our underwriting agency.
Grant Clough | General Manager Portfolio and Underwriting

Grant is an Insurance Financial Specialist who brings deep technical expertise and strategic insight to ATL’s underwriting portfolio. As General Manager – Underwriting Portfolio, he leads pricing strategy, data analytics, and capability uplift across the Underwriting and Business Services teams. His work ensures our portfolio remains disciplined, profitable, and aligned with ATL’s broader technology and growth ambitions.
Grant began his insurance career with Hollard in South Africa in 2001, where he gained recognition for applying strong financial acumen in managing broker equity partners and supporting the entrepreneurial nature of insurance intermediaries. Since relocating to Australia with his family and joining ATL, Grant has played a key role in embedding data‑driven decision‑making into our underwriting framework.
His strengths in portfolio performance, underwriting governance, and strategic insight continue to shape ATL’s approach to risk selection and portfolio management, supporting sustainable outcomes for our partners and the business.

Michelle Domanski | General Claims Manager
Michelle is an accomplished claims leader in the Australian insurance industry, bringing deep expertise across motor vehicle claims, recoveries, and property damage. Her broad operational background enables her to manage complex claims environments with confidence and clarity.
At ATL, Michelle leads the Claims Teams with a strong focus on performance, people, and continuous improvement. She is dedicated to strengthening claim outcomes, enhancing service quality, and ensuring her team is equipped to support customers and broker partners with consistency and care. Michelle’s leadership style is defined by her ability to inspire, guide, and develop high‑performing teams. She is committed to building capability, fostering engagement, and shaping a culture that puts the customer experience at the centre of every decision.
Michelle plays a pivotal role in driving operational change within the claims function. Her proactive approach and attention to detail help advance our claims processes, ensuring they remain robust, efficient, and aligned with the evolving needs of the business whilst supporting stronger outcomes for our clients and partners.
Nick Evans | General Manager Distribution
Nick is a senior insurance and technology executive with more than 25 years of experience across underwriting, distribution strategy, digital transformation, and business development.
As General Manager of Distribution at ATL Insurance Group, he focusses on building high-performance distribution teams that drive sustainable growth, innovation, and long-term partnerships. His career spans technology, insurance, and strategic partnerships, enabling him to bridge the gap between traditional insurance models and modern digital distribution channels. He is passionate about developing and strengthening broker and partner relationships with a focus on building and growing relationships.
Throughout his career, he has worked closely with insurers, brokers, technology partners, and distribution networks to create high-impact partnerships with strong commercial outcomes.

Erin Kill | General Manager Business Enablement
Erin is a highly experienced insurance leader with strong strategic, operational, and people capability. As General Manager – Business Enablement, she leads business strategy, planning, and initiative prioritisation to ensure execution aligns with organisational goals. She works closely with the management team to drive project delivery and partners with the CEO to ensure adherence to ATL/Insuret strategic planning and delivery.
Erin has a proven track record in workforce planning, financial analysis, learning and development, and organisational capability uplift. She has designed onboarding and training programs, delivered actionable insights to sales and claims teams, led large teams, and contributed to product development, PDS creation, and targeted learning initiatives.
Recognised for her collaboration, integrity, and clear communication, Erin brings people together, leads effective change, and delivers customer‑focused solutions. At ATL, she is a key driver of capability and strategic progress, ensuring the business is equipped to perform consistently for customers, partners, and teams.
Chris van der Horst | General Manager Operations
As General Manager – Operations, Chris brings more than 15 years of senior leadership experience across underwriting, product, technology and operational functions within Australia’s general insurance market. Having held executive roles spanning portfolio management, product and underwriting strategy, digital transformation and operational oversight, Chris has a proven track record of strengthening performance, driving efficiency and delivering sustainable growth.
Prior to joining ATL, Chris led portfolio, product and technology functions at Envest, where they oversaw underwriting agency performance, developed pricing and portfolio strategies, and drove major digital and operational transformation initiatives. Earlier executive roles at Hollard included Chief Operating Officer and Head of Product & Underwriting, where Chris was responsible for distribution, underwriting, product governance, commercial portfolio performance and the delivery of key strategic programs.
Known for a collaborative, commercially minded approach, Chris brings deep expertise in underwriting governance, operational excellence, product development and stakeholder management. Their broad experience across agencies, broker markets and direct portfolios positions them to ensure ATL’s operations remain efficient, scalable and aligned with the needs of brokers, partners and clients.
