Allan has over 30 years general insurance experience across multiple geographies in Australia before settling in Brisbane. Allan’s personal brand, long term industry relationships and over 15 years in transport insurance provides a strong base for ATL’s development with current and new broker networks across the country. With a background of various senior management roles he adds strong levels of strategy, people development and team leadership to our growing business. Allan looks for change as a way to provide consistent solutions to our broker partners.
David Burgess | General Manager

David has worked in the Insurance Market for 40 years, spending over 25 years working in the London Re-insurance Market before moving to Brisbane as one of the founders of the original Austruck Insurance business. David’s strong insurance knowledge and meticulous attention to detail ensures effective management of our business processes and that we meet our regulatory commitments and reporting obligations.
Grant Clough | Portfolio Underwriting Manager

Grant is a Insurance Financial Specialist bringing high levels of expertise to our Underwriting Team. Grant looks after pricing, algorithm, data analytics and skills development in the Underwriting and Business Services Teams. GGrant started his Insurance Career with Hollard in South Africa in 2001 and made a name for himself managing broker equity partners and bringing financial acumen to the entrepreneurial nature of insurance brokers. Grant moved to Australia 4 years ago with his young family and joined ATL to bring his data driven decision making to ATL and build out algorithms and underwriting decisions to match our technology aspirations.
Nick Evans | Chief Commercial Officer

Nick provides services that enable Brokers to easier engage with our business, providing communication, marketing, sales and technology services across the business. Nick has an entrepreneurial spirit building technology-based businesses across multiple countries and has focused on Insurance Technology development for the past 10 years. His focus on people orientated digital transformation projects enables the business to develop new technology partnerships and systems to lower friction, improve service and create opportunities to engage with our broker partners.

Gregg Freestone | Technology Manager

Gregg joined ATL Insurance when he returned from London after 10 years building his insurance career as a Claims Professional and has worked at leading UK Direct Insurance companies with a stint in the Lloyds of London market. Gregg has brought a professional approach to re-building our claims technology solutions and launching our digital claims lodgement solution. Gregg is enjoying being back in Brisbane where he started his career, and he continues to develop new technology solutions across the business to enhance our technology offering and digital connections.
